Two races down and the RASCAR (R/C NASCAR racing) series has made a big impact so far. Two different race winners, and the third event at Birchfield Community Centre in Yeovil had David Tomlinson and Lee Owen gunning to become the first repeat winners in the series – and a host of other drivers, like Ryan Stuart and debutant Chelle Snowden, aiming to add their names to the RASCAR roll of honour.
A 150-lap sprint race, 3 shootout heat races and a gruelling 300-lap feature, on a slippery track surface, lay ahead. Attrition, accidents, close finishes and high drama ensued – stock car racing is spectacular in any scale, confirmed!
